2.1.2 Manual Lockers
Manual lockers are fairly new to the Suzuki aftermarket. KAM's locker is available with either air or cable operation, while the
ARB locker is only air-operated. Both lockers provide 100% lockup on
the trail and 0% lockup for the street, controlled in-cab at the driver's
discretion. As a result, they are the most street-friendly lockers available.
This does, however, come at a substantial cost over that of an automatic
locker. KAM offsets this premium with the inclusion of stronger axles
and differential components, reducing the chance of breakage. Their
ultimate performance makes them the best option available.
