2.2.3 Other engine swaps
Swap kits for a few other engines have been developed for the Samurai,
including the Ford V6s, the Chevy 4.3-liter V6, and the Volkswagen turbo
diesel. These kits have been adapted to other engines, and others have
done custom engine swaps, including Chevy and Ford small-block V8s,
the GM Quad 4, Pinto 2300s, Volkswagen gasoline engines, and the Mazda
rotary engine.
