2.3.8 Coil springs
Coil spring suspension conversions are capable of providing the greatest
increase in wheel travel and the smoothest, most controlled ride. However,
this comes at great cost and complexity compared to other suspension
upgrades. Usually set up similarly to a 1/4-elliptic design (but utilizing
coil springs rather than 1/2-leaf springs) a lot of modifications must
be made. The end result, though, is the best suspension available.
