4.1 Trim the front bumper
If your Samurai has the stock front bumper and you'd like to add larger
tires, trimming the corner of the bumper inside the wheelwell can clear
up enough room to run a set of tires 1 size larger that what would otherwise
be the largest. The biggest clearance problem comes from the front tires,
when they are turned and compressed into the wheelwell. Turning the
wheels and trimming as much as necessary will preserve the stock look
while permitting larger tires.
