This Radio box is designed to replace the factory plastic box, and will fit in the original opening. This box is made of heavy duty 18 gauge steel that is powder coated for corrosion resistance. Mounts with four self tapping screws into the existing plate in the dash. This box was designed to withstand years of abuse, and is strong enough mount accessories such as gauges, CB radios, radar detectors or GPS units.
Also available is an optional storage tray that mounts under the radio box that holds an amazing amount of gear, but will not interfere with the heater vents or the shifter.
