Tracker idler arm? Or even snapped it completely off?
We have. What we did to make sure this would never happen
again was to take solid stock 1018 steel, machined to
match the stock arm in critical dimensions. Next we
machine it to fit massive UHMW bushings, which are
greasable to ensure free movement and trouble free
operation. Then, we enlarged the shaft itself followed by
building a new much stronger mounting bracket. The entire
part now weighs 2.5 times the stock unit, but it's good
weight.
