Kinetic rope is the latest technology for vehicle recovery. Better than a tow strap or cable - these ropes are scientifically designed to stretch as you pull. As it stretches, it build up kinetic energy and will then "spring back". Think "rubber band". This eliminates shock gives an additional kinetic "tug" as you are pulling a stuck vehicle from snow, mud, sand, etc.
